چکیده

Icing is a common phenomenon in nature and has serious impact on wind turbines. Anti-icing coatings have become major focus of industrial applications academic research. In this study, hydrophobic nano-carbon coating was prepared from corn-straw-biogas residue. The characterization results the SEM, BET, FTIR, XRD analyses showed that good pore structure crystal structure. anti-icing effects carbon were confirmed by contact-angle measurements experiments. ice thicknesses nano-carbon-coated aluminum-alloy blade (AAB) bakelite (BB) found to decrease 1.20 mm 1.10 mm, respectively, compared with those without coating; their weights decreased 2.00 g 1.31 g, respectively. ratios icing areas before after AAB BB 8.15% 9.65%, brief, method more effective technique for creating wind-turbine blades other outdoor apparatus.

Effect of Reduced Frequency on the Unsteady Aerodynamic Performance of a Wind Turbine Blade Section

The blades of wind turbines are the most important parts in producing power output. In this study, a section of a 660 KW wind turbine blade will be installed in Iran in near future was tested in a wind tunnel. In addition to steady tests, various unsteady tests including the effects of reduced frequency, mean angle of attack, and amplitudes were carried out. The preliminary results show strong ...

On the Material Characterisation of Wind Turbine Blade Coatings: The Effect of Interphase Coating–Laminate Adhesion on Rain Erosion Performance

Rain erosion damage, caused by repeated droplet impact on wind turbine blades, is a major cause for concern, even more so at offshore locations with larger blades and higher tip speeds. Due to the negative economic influence of blade erosion, all wind turbine Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) are actively seeking solutions. In most cases, since the surface coating plays a decisive role in...
